The narrowboats at Alvecote Marina are located on the Coventry Canal four miles from the town of Tamworth. This peaceful rural setting on the Warwickshire & Staffordshire borders provides a variety of cruising routes around the heart of the Canal network. Tamworth has attractions for all ages including Tamworth Castle and the Snowdome, Europe's only year-round ski slope with real snow. This is an active holiday, where guests have sole charge of the boat. For cruising purposes guests must be fit and able-bodied, and comply with the minimum occupancy policy.
